The resources that we need to solve this puzzle are already present. Take the water from the ocean, desalinize it, create agricultural areas globally, plant all types of plants and let the planet heal itself naturally and via the quickest method possible. If we do this then we will have achieved the following :
- Use massive amounts of oceanic water to significantly impact the impending global rise in sea levels
- Set the stage for accelerated ‘natural’ cleansing of the countless tons of carbon dioxide and other particulate matter in the atmosphere
- Solved the advent of food shortages permanently on a global basis
- Create an untold number of jobs worldwide
- Reverse the process of draining the water tables worldwide
- Insulation from drought
- Create additional jobs to manufacture farm machinery
- Provide housing for those that have lost their homes due to the real estate mortgage crisis
There are countless positive aspects that can be derived by turning our planet ‘back’ into a planet that appears green from space instead of having substantial brown dry arid areas. However, in summary, our objective is to thwart the swelling of the oceans on our populated land masses and remove the existing tons of particulate matter that is a central factor in the accelerated global temperature rise caused by the ‘Greenhouse Effect’. Even if the oceans do not rise appreciably we are still solving food shortages, creating countless jobs and industries, eliminating our dependence on oil and coal companies, and insulating the planet’s population from the negative effects of droughts by treating the symptoms (effects) of Global Warming.
