Food

We can address any preexisting issues associated with food shortages by implementing the aqueduct/irrigation solutions above.  Planting and farming in all nations provides an answer to one of our most serious global social issues.  Prolific farming will solve the advent of food shortages permanently on a global basis.  In most cases, we can grow all of the food for a given nation/society within that nation/society.  It follows that we won’t have the issues for import/export of grains for virtually any nation on Earth.  Everyone will have, ideally, enough agricultural production to service their own needs.  Diversion of grains to alternative fuels would no longer impact food supplies.  Additionally, we can stop using pesticides because we will have surpluses of agricultural production.  This would stop the pollution of rivers, lakes, wetlands, oceans and other bodies of water due to runoff.  Pesticide and fertilizer contaminants will also no longer be in our drinking water.  We must consider that groundwater that is contaminated will stay that way for several thousand years. Pesticides and chemical fertilizers are contaminating these ‘natural’ fresh water sources via runoff.
